South East Idaho Food Donation Program Hits the streets Running
 Are you close to someone who is facing hard times this holiday
season?
The Smith Auto Group, Riverbend Communications, and Local News
8 HD, are kicking off their annual Gift of Giving program “Helping
Hands—Feeding Families.” Just in time to help those in need this
holiday season.
This life-changing opportunity helps provide food and much needed
assistance to many people in the Idaho Falls and surrounding
areas; and allows for the community to become involved directly
and benefit those around them.
Jim Bringman General Manager of the Smith Group of Dealerships
states, “Its nice to have a venue where customers, employees,
and anyone who wants can bring in food cans…and they will know
that 100% of their donation goes to help those in need. Having
Riverbend communications and Local news 8 involved this year
really allows people in this community to get behind this promotion
and allows everybody an even greater opportunity to help”
Helping hands Feeding families is a food donation program that
works in conjunction with the Idaho food bank in gathering and
collecting canned foods and non-perishables for distribution
during the holidays.
Donations can be made at any Smith Group Automotive dealership, The
Channel 8 offices, and the Riverbend communications studios.
